Het is sinds juni 2025 helaas niet meer mogelijk om van een niet-Schengenland naar Texel te vliegen? Of van Texel naar een niet-Schengenland.
Texel Airport was sinds de jaren ’60 een grensdoorlaatpost, maar die status is door het Ministerie van Justitie & Veiligheid afgenomen. Ook Hilversum en Teuge hebben deze status niet. Het is nu alleen nog mogelijk om uit bijvoorbeeld Engeland naar Texel te vliegen via luchthavens als Den Helder Airport, Lelystad, Zeeland of Seppe. Uiteraard kunt u ook via Frankrijk of België vliegen.
Samen met Hilversum en Teuge probeert Texel weer een grensdoorlaatpost te worden.

Unfortunately, since June 2025, it is no longer possible to fly to Texel from a non-Schengen country, or from Texel to a non-Schengen country.
Texel Airport had held the status of a point of entry since the 1960s, but this status was revoked by the Ministry of Justice and Security. Hilversum and Teuge do not hold this status either. It is now only possible to fly to Texel from places like England by stopping at airports such as Den Helder, Lelystad, Zeeland, or Seppe. It’s also possible to fly via France o Belgium.
Texel is working with Hilversum and Teuge to regain its status as a point of entry.
